Cream Filling

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 4 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix the sugar, salt, cornstarch and flour.
  2. Gradually add the milk and egg.
  3. Cook until very thick, in a double boiler.
  4. Add the butter and vanilla.
  5. Beat one minute.
  6. Cool before using.
