Cottage Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoon melted butter

Directions

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Add the egg, milk and vanilla, and beat one minute.
  3. Add the melted butter, and pour into a well buttered tin pan.
  4. Bake twenty minutes in a moderate oven.
  5. Serve warm with vanilla sauce.
