Cocoa Syrup

Ingredients

  • 3 cup cocoa, (3/4 pound)
  • 3 cup sugar, (1 1/2 pound)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 quart boiling water

Directions

  1. Mix cocoa, sugar and salt thoroughly.
  2. Add hot water slowly, stirring constantly.
  3. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.
  4. Store in a covered jar in a cool place.
