Cocoa

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon cocoa
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 3 cup whole milk, or 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk diluted with
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, (optional)

Directions

  1. Combine cocoa, sugar, and salt in saucepan.
  2. Add water: boil 2 minutes, stirring.
  3. Add milk; heat thoroughly but do not boil.
  4. Add vanilla.
  5. Beat with rotary egg beater.
