Chicken Paprika II

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut up and boil chicken until tender.
  2. Sauce : skim fat from broth in which the fowl was boiled.
  3. Place two tablespoons of the chicken fat in a pan and blend into it 3 tablespoons of flour.
  4. Add to it the broth and allow to boil.
  5. Add sour cream, paprika and the liver put through a sieve.
  6. Salt to taste.
  7. Lay the chicken in the sauce and heat through.
  8. While preparing sauce have noodles cooking in plenty of salt water.
  9. Drain and sprinkle with one cup of bread crumbs that have been slightly browned in butter.
  10. Noodles: to every egg add 1/2 shell of cold water.
  11. Beat slightly and salt.
  12. Add flour enough to make a stiff dough.
  13. Roll out very thin, dry slightly, roll up and cut.
  14. Let dry and boil in salted water 1/2 hour.
  15. Serve with the chicken and sauce.
