Butterscotch Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cup brown sugar, (1 1/2 pounds)
  • 1 pint corn syrup
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 pint evaporated milk

Directions

  1. Boil sugar, syrup and water to a thick syrup (236f).
  2. Cool and stir in the milk.
  3. White corn syrup makes a more delicate sauce.
