Bramborove Knedliky (Potato Dumplings)

Ingredients

  • 3 cup potatoes
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup farina
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. 3 cups cooked riced potatoes.
  2. When cold add eggs, farina, 1 tablespoon salt, flour.
  3. Mix in order given above.
  4. Shape into small balls.
  5. Have a large kettle of boiling water with 1 teaspoon salt.
  6. Put the dumplings into the boiling water.
  7. Cover.
  8. When they come to a boil, stir loose from bottom.
  9. Replace cover.
  10. Boil 10 to 15 minutes.
  11. Test by taking 1 out of water and cutting it in half.
  12. If the center is raw, cook a few minutes longer.
