
Bettina's Spiced Beets
Ingredients
- 5 large cooked beets, sliced
- 1 tablespoon 'C' sugar
- 6 cloves
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Heat the vinegar, add the cloves, sugar, salt and pepper.
- Pour over the beets, cut in one-third inch slices.
- Allow to stand one hour before serving.
