Bettina's Cottage Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoon chopped nuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoon melted butter

Directions

  1. Mix the sugar, salt, flour, baking powder and nuts.
  2. Add the egg and milk and mix well add the vanilla.
  3. Beat vigorously for two minutes, and then add the melted butter.
  4. Pour into well-buttered gem pans, filling each half full bake fifteen minutes in a moderate oven.
  5. Serve with chocolate sauce.
