Bettina’s Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup 'C' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup water
  • a few grains of salt

Directions

  1. Wash and core the apples.
  2. Mix the sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and salt, and fill the cavity with the mixture.
  3. Place the apples in a small pan, and pour a little water around them.
  4. Bake twenty-five minutes in a moderate oven.
