Baked Ham

Ingredients

  • 2/3 pound slice of ham, one inch thick
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

  1. Cover the ham with boiling water and let it stand ten minutes.
  2. Remove from the pan, and place the ham in a pan just large enough to hold it.
  3. Cover with the milk.
  4. Place in a moderate oven and bake thirty minutes.
  5. More milk may be added if necessary.
  6. When the ham is done, add more liquid, enough to make one-half a cup.
  7. Mix flour with water.
  8. Add the hot milk to this slowly.
  9. Heat and cook one minute.
  10. Serve with the ham.
