Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon butter

Directions

  1. Select apples of uniform size.
  2. Wash and core.
  3. Place in a pan, cover the bottom with water.
  4. Fill each cavity with sugar, a dash of powdered cinnamon and a tiny lump of butter.
  5. Bake for thirty minutes, basting occasionally.
  6. Serve around the platter of pork chops.
