Vanilla Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 3 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Directions

  1. Mix the sugar, flour and salt thoroughly.
  2. Add the water slowly.
  3. Boil two minutes.
  4. Add the vanilla, lemon extract, and butter.
  5. Beat one minute and serve.
  6. If too thick, more water may be added.
