Prune Blanc Mange
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup cooked, cut prunes
- 4 tablespoon cold milk
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
- 2/3 cup hot milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Mix the cornstarch, sugar and salt, and add the cold milk slowly.
- Gradually add the hot milk.
- Cook in a double boiler for twenty minutes.
- Add the prunes, lemon extract and vanilla.
- Beat well, and serve cold with cream.
