Pocketbook Rolls
Ingredients
- White Bread dough ingredients
Directions
- Prepare White Bread dough
- After first rising, divide dough in half
- Roll out each half 1/2-inch thick on a lightly floured board
- Cut with 2 1/2-inch round cutter
- Crease heavily across center with the dull edge of a knife
- Brush lightly with melted shortening
- Fold over
- Place on greased baking sheet about 1 inch apart
- Cover with damp cloth
- Let rise in a warm place, 80° to 85° until double in bulk
- Meanwhile set oven for hot, 400°
- Bake rolls 20 minutes or until brown
- Remove from pan immediately
