Peanut Butter Loaf

Directions

  1. Set oven for moderate, 350f.
  2. Mix and sift first 4 ingredients.
  3. Cream shortening and peanut butter; add sugar gradually while creaming.
  4. Continue to cream until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs; beat well.
  6. Stir in dry ingredients alternately with mashed bananas: mix well; but do not beat.
  7. Spoon batter into well greased loaf pan, 8 by 4 by 3 inches.
  8. Bake 1 hour.
