Orangeade

Ingredients

  • 3 oranges
  • 1 1/2 lemons
  • sugar, to taste
  • 1 quart water

Directions

  1. Peel the fruit rind thinly and place in a pan, with the sugar and water, then simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Strain the hot liquid through muslin and cool.
  3. Add the fruit juice, and chill before serving.
