Nut or Noisette Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cake compressed yeast
  • 1/2 cup water, lukewarm
  • 1 cup milk, scalded and cooled
  • 1 tablespoon shortening
  • 2 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 cup hazelnut, meats
  • 1/2 cup white flour

Directions

  1. Entire wheat flour as needed for dough.
  2. Mix in morning and let it rise till light.
  3. Knead; put in tins and let rise again before baking.
