Number Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3 cup sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice, and rind, or soda, or nutmeg
- 3 cup pastry, flour or St. Louis flour
Directions
- Mix and bake.
- Nice with walnut-meats.
