Marine Puffs
Ingredients
- 1 small tin herrings
- 4 ounce flaky pastry
- lemon juice
- seasoning
- egg, to glaze
Directions
- Bone the herrings and mix with lemon juice and seasoning.
- Roll the pastry out into 2f 1/2 inch squares and place a little mixture on each, moisten two of the edges and fold into a triangle.
- Flake the joined edges, brush the top with egg, and bake in a hot oven for about 15 minutes.
