Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup macaroni, broken in pieces
  • 4 tablespoon cheese, cut in small pieces
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoon flour

Directions

  1. Cook the macaroni in the boiling salted water until tender, about fifteen minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse thoroughly with cold water.
  3. Melt the butter, add the flour, salt and pepper.
  4. Gradually add the milk and cheese.
  5. Cook three minutes.
  6. Add the macaroni.
  7. Mix well, and pour into a well-buttered baking dish.
  8. Place in a moderate oven and cook twenty minutes.
