Hard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 quart confectioners sugar, (2 pounds)
  • evaporated milk
  • 4 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Cream butter, add confectioners sugar and blend thoroughly.
  2. Add undiluted evaporated milk slowly until mixture is light and fluffy.
  3. About a cup milk will be necessary.
  4. Add vanilla.
  5. Keep cold until ready to serve.
