Ingredients

Directions

  1. Beat eggs with sugar until very thick, add sifted dry ingredients; beat smooth.
  2. Add dates, vanilla, and nut meats.
  3. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan, lined with waxed-paper, in a moderate over (350) about 30 minutes.
  4. While warm, cut in 1 x 4 inch bars; roll in confectioners sugar.
