Corn Oysters

Ingredients

  • 2 cup corn, grated
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, ·
  • pepper

Directions

  1. Use fresh or canned corn, grated.
  2. Mix in flour, egg yolks, salt a pinch of black and cayenne pepper and melted butter.
  3. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  4. Drop spoonfuls, to look like fried oysters, on hot greased pan and brown.
