Confectioner's Icing

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon cream, or milk
  • 1 tablespoon carmelized syrup or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Mix the cream, vanilla and syrup.
  2. Add the sugar (sifted) until the right consistency to spread.
  3. Spread carefully between the layers and on the top.
  4. Set aside to cool, and to allow the icing to 'set.
  5. ' More sugar may be needed in making the icing.
