Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • 9 ounce bitter chocolate
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 cup sugar, (1 1/2 pounds)
  • 3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate over hot water.
  2. Add water slowly, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add sugar and syrup.
  4. Boil to 234f (very soft ball when tested in cold water).
  5. Remove from heat, add milk and vanilla.
