Chocolate Cream Pie

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Melt chocolate over boiling water.
  2. Add sugar that has been thoroughly mixed with the flour and salt and blend well.
  3. Add the boiling water and boil until mixture thickens.
  4. Set over boiling water.
  5. Beat the egg yolks, acid milk and pour slowly into the first mixture, stirring constantly.
  6. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  7. Add flavoring and cool.
  8. Pour into cool baked pie shells.
  9. Cover with meringue made of 15 egg whites and brown.
