Cheese and Mushroom Turnovers

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce margarine
  • seasoning
  • 2 ounce cheese
  • 2 ounce cooked mushrooms
  • 1 egg
  • 4 ounce flaky pastry

Directions

  1. Melt the margarine in a pan and add the cheese, beaten egg and seasoning.
  2. Stir over a gentle heat until the mixture thickens, add the mushrooms and allow to cool.
  3. Roll the pastry out thinly and cut into small rounds, place a little of the mixture on each, wet the edges, fold in half and press.
  4. Bake in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes.
