Bran Butterscotch Cookies

Yield: 8 dozen cookies 2 inches in diameter

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cream the lard, add the sugar, well beaten eggs and bran.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add to the first mixture.
  4. Shape into a roll and store in refrigerator.
  5. When needed, slice thin and bake on cookie sheet in hot oven (425f) for about 12 minutes.
