Boiled Souffle

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1/4 pound sugar
  • 5 eggs, yolks and whites
  • 1 lemon juice

Directions

  1. Melt butter, sugar and yolks of the eggs together and stir till cold.
  2. Add all the whites and the juice of one very large lemon.
  3. Beat all up and put in a mould.
  4. Set in a pan of boiling water and boil i hour.
  5. Serve with foamy sauce.
