
Whole-Wheat Biscuits (2)
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3 -4 tablespoon fat
- 1 cup sifted white flour
- 3/4 cup water, or milk if available
- 3 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Mix the dry ingredients together.
- Cut in the fat and add liquid to make a soft dough.
- Place the dough on a lightly floured hoard, and pat out or roll until one-half or three-fourths of an inch thick; or knead gently, and roll to the desired thickness.
- Cut into biscuits.
- Bake on a pan in a hot oven for about 15 minutes.
