Vanilla Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup whip cream
Directions
- In a 1-quart saucepan boil sugar and water to 238°, or until a little forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
- Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored.
- Pour syrup slowly on egg yolks, while beating.
- Continue beating until creamy.
- Chill.
- Add vanilla.
- Whip cream; fold in.
