Salmon Loaf

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup flaked canned salmon
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/3 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup milk

Directions

  1. Flake the salmon apart with a silver fork, add the crumbs, salt and paprika.
  2. Beat the egg and add the milk.
  3. Add to the first mixture.
  4. Place in a well-buttered mould and bake in a moderate oven for twenty-five minutes.
  5. Allow to stand three minutes, remove from the mould, and place on a warmed platter.
  6. Pour salmon sauce around the loaf and serve at once.
