Rhubarb Pudding

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Line buttered baking dish with slices of plain stale cake or bread.
  2. Fill with sweetened rhubarb.
  3. Cover and bake in moderately slow oven (325f) for 30 minutes.
  4. Make a meringue by beating egg whites stiff and adding 4 tablespoon sugar.
  5. Remove pudding from oven, cover with meringue and brown in oven.
