Maple Icing

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup maple sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

Directions

  1. Cook all the 1ngredients together until a soft ball is formed when a little is dropped into cold water.
  2. Beat until creamy enough to pour on the cake.
