Maple Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound maple sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in the order named.
  2. Cook until the candy forms a soft ball when a little is dropped in a glass of cold water.
  3. Remove from the fire and let it cool.
  4. When cool, beat until it becomes creamy.
  5. Pour into a buttered plate.
