Ice Box Rolls
Ingredients
- 7 cup flour
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 yeast cakes
Directions
- Pour 1 cup boiling water, let stand until cold.
- Put 2 yeast cakes in 1 cup cold water, 2 well beaten eggs, 6 cups flour, mix well but do not beat.
- Keep in ice box at least 2 hours.
- Make out into rolls.
- Let stand 2 hours or more.
- Bake in hot oven.
