Ice Box Rolls

Ingredients

  • 7 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 yeast cakes

Directions

  1. Pour 1 cup boiling water, let stand until cold.
  2. Put 2 yeast cakes in 1 cup cold water, 2 well beaten eggs, 6 cups flour, mix well but do not beat.
  3. Keep in ice box at least 2 hours.
  4. Make out into rolls.
  5. Let stand 2 hours or more.
  6. Bake in hot oven.
