Fish-Tomato Stew

Ingredients

  • 3 cup potatoes
  • 3 tablespoon fat
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 1/4 cup green pepper
  • 3 1/2 cup fresh or canned (No. 2 can) tomatoes
  • 1 pound cooked fish
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper

Directions

  1. Cook potatoes in fat until lightly browned.
  2. Add onion, green pepper, tomatoes.
  3. Cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
  4. Add cooked fish, cut in about 2-inch pieces.
  5. Season with salt, and pepper.
  6. Cook about 5 minutes longer.
