Curry Envelopes
Ingredients
- 2 ounce flaky pastry
- 1 chopped hard-boiled egg
- 3/4 ounce cooked rice
- 1/4 cup curry, sauce
- egg, to glaze
Directions
- Roll out the pastry thinly and cut it into 3-inch squares.
- Mix the cooked rice, curry sauce and chopped egg together, and place a little in the centre of each pastry square.
- Moisten two sides of the pastry with water, and fold the comers into the centre to form an envelope.
- Brush over with beaten egg, and bake in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes.
