Vegetable Salad

Ingredients

  • 10 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, cut in strips
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 20 pieces of lettuce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cup salad dressing
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup pimentoes, cut in strips
  • 1/2 cup oil, from the canned pimento
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream

Directions

  1. Arrange the lettuce leaves (washed) on salad plates.
  2. Place one slice of tomato, two slices of pimento and two slices of green pepper on each.
  3. Sprinkle the vegetables with pepper and salt.
  4. Add two teaspoons of cottage cheese.
  5. Place one teaspoon of salad dressing on each portion.
  6. To prepare the salad dressing, mix boiled dressing and pimento oil together and then add the whipped cream.
  7. Mix well, and pile attractively on the salad.
