Potato Filling For Fowl
Ingredients
- 2 cup mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup celery, diced
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 quart stale bread, cubed
- 1 tablespoon minced parsley
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 onion, minced
- pinch of pepper
Directions
- Put the beaten egg into the mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet and saute the onion and celery.
- Stir in the bread crumbs to toast for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add all the other ingredients, combine with the potatoes and mix thoroughly.
