Potato Filling For Fowl

Ingredients

  • 2 cup mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 quart stale bread, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 onion, minced
  • pinch of pepper

Directions

  1. Put the beaten egg into the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet and saute the onion and celery.
  3. Stir in the bread crumbs to toast for a few minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Add all the other ingredients, combine with the potatoes and mix thoroughly.
