Mousselaine Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, well beaten till light; add slowly
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon brandy
  • 1 cup heavy cream, beaten stiff
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Cook the eggs, powdered sugar and brandy over range 5 minutes, stirring.
  2. Set in pan of ice-water and beat till cold.
  3. Then add the cream, vanilla and a pinch of salt!.
