Ham Cooked in Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ham, (a slice two-thirds of an inch thick)
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

  1. Pour boiling water over the ham, and allow it to stand ten rmnutes.
  2. Remove the ham, and place in the frying-pan.
  3. Add the milk, and allow to cook slowly for twenty-five minutes.
  4. Remove from the milk and garnish with parsley.
