Baked Brown Bread
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup sour milk
- 2/3 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup rye meal
- 1/2 cup corn meal
- saleratus, dissolved in water and added to molasses
Directions
- Put in buttered tin.
- Pour water into molasses cup and pour over top.
- Bake 1 hour in hot oven.
