Cod Fish Stew (Danish)

Directions

  1. Saute bacon in deep kettle or dutch oven until lightly browned; then set bacon aside.
  2. In same kettle, saute onions until tender.
  3. Add fish cut in 2 1/2 inch pieces; add next seven ingredients.
  4. Simmer, covered, until vegetables are tender, about 25 minutes.
  5. Add tomatoes, heat through.
  6. Garnish with parsley and bacon bits.
