Tomato Salad



  1. Two or three hours before meal time peel 5 tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 1 onion, and place them on the ice.
  2. Just before the meal is served, slice and arrange on a platter trimmed with lettuce or parsley.
  3. Pour over them this dressing : mix thoroughly in a bowl 3 tablespoonfuls of oil, 1 teaspoonful of salt, 1/2 teaspoonful of curry powder, and, last, 1 tablespoonful of vinegar.
