Tiny Curried Fish Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cold fish
  • lemon juice
  • 2 ounce sieved cold potato
  • 1/2 ounce butter
  • seasoning
  • egg and breadcrumbs , to coat
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon beaten egg
  • fat, for frying

Directions

  1. Put all the ingredients except the egg and bread¬ crumbs into a pan, and beat well over a gentle heat.
  2. Cool, and shape on a floured board into small sausages.
  3. Coat with egg and breadcrumbs, and fry in deep fat.
  4. Serve on sticks.
