Sour Cream Cookies

  1. Cream the fat, add the sugar.
  2. Cream again.
  3. Add the eggs well beaten, sour milk, one cup flour, soda, salt and nutmeg mixed and sifted together.
  4. Add the rest of the flour.
  5. Roll out to one-third of an inch thickness, cut any desired shape, and bake in a moderately hot oven for fifteen minutes.
  6. Sugar mixed with a little flour may be sifted over the dough before cutting.
  7. Raisins may also be pressed into the top of each cooky.
