Snip Kager



  1. Cream butter, add sugar.
  2. Beat egg yolks and add.
  3. Flour, baking powder, a little lemon and almond flavoring.
  4. Fold in beaten egg whites.
  5. Grease jelly roll pan and spread batter 3/4 in.
  6. Thick in pan.
  7. Sprinkle cut-up raisins or currants and chopped almonds on top.
  8. Bake in moderate oven.
  9. Cut; in diamond shapes while hot.
  10. Loosen from bottom of pan and put back into very slow oven until crisp.
  11. Store in tin cans.
