Savoury Rolls



  1. Roll the pastry thinly and cut into small oblongs.
  2. Place a sausage, sardine or anchovy fillet on each strip, brush one edge with cold water, and fold over.
  3. Flake the joined edge with a knife, and make two small cuts across the top.
  4. Brush with egg and bake in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes.
